It's not nitrous. It builds boost on the line so you can leave under a decent amount of boost. Retards the ---- all out of the timing, and runs real rich to build exhaust gas pressure in the manifold.

Not sure about crome, but most standalones and some chips allow you to do it. As posted above it simply ***** with timing and fuel to build boost when you are at the line.

Eats turbos.

To the OP, nice MPH, good story with the tranny.

That's my car using crome. I just went into my low cam map ABOVE my vtec engagement, 6000-7000rpm. Retarded the timing to -6* and added some fuel. Too much fuel made it build boost slower, too little made it take like 5 seconds. You just gotta ---- with it.

WHy would you be shifting in the burnout?

Start out in second, plenty of wheelspeed to warm up the slicks.

"I busted my 2nd gear in the burnout box. My own mistake. Ive been told not to shift in the burnout. But I did, and I felt something break."

Bone I clearly stated I made a mistake. Its a habit, been doing it for a while.

It's amazing how long you can run a sohc tranny with no fluid. I lasted a good week using a CX tranny that I wanted to kill. ****** still worked when I pulled it out too. Too bad about the tranny but still hitting 12's with a fucked up tranny. That's hardcore Joe.
