i had to grind away a load of metal and my setup is HF manifold with T25 turbo... I think its pretty normal

 

Grind the damnn block.
It will blow up after a few runs.

 

Trash that bullshit mani and get one for BMC racing

 

i bought one before i read the reviews on this site, it is crap too! the flange where u bolt the manifold to the cylinder head is warped, put a straight edge across it and u will want to smash it! i made a jig to hold it and resurfaced it on a milling machine. otherwise it would leak horribly! worthless!

 

Which way did you orient the turbo? Compressor to the Tranny, or Turbine to the Tranny?

We're having trouble with the original design clearing A/C also. The Turbo and the A/C fan run into each other. We are working on a new design, but larger turbos like the T3/T4 may have block clearance problems.

this is ----! i ordered one today for my integra before reading any of this.i wil be pissed if it doesnt clear AC. Why would anyone want to grind away a section of their block? I guess there will always be someone on ebay who will buy it

 

I just picked one up used for only one dyno session for 75 and it was braced with some extra bars but hell 75 shipped and I'll give it a shot! What kind of wastegate do people use with these and what kind of flange does it have for it?

 

Tial/Deltagate style wastegate flange.
