I run Rotella in the XR. Good stuff.

I heard it has an additive that will plug a catalytic converter if burned... so... beware if you use one. Chances are your car burns oil if you're a member of HMT. Then again, it's equally probable you don't use a cat.

That I do, gets changed every 250hrs and in the Dodge. VW gets mobil 1 synthetic.

 

Bullshit we were looking for no name oil for the dodge.

 

I've been told the Rotella contains extra detergents to help keep the engine internals clean. Don't most big rigs run cats? Rotella is mainly used in those vehicles. I would think their cats would clog.

Kinda gave up on that after superstore fell through.

Think I might just buy a drum of Rotella, and run it for everything.

O weight Rotella! Good ---- worth power apparently, have yet to try it in my racecar. Seen others that swear by it.
