Anyone use Rotella?
Ok
For my engine break in, im gonna use some cheap ass 5w30 dinosaur oil. After the break in, im thinking of going with this. http://www.shell.com/home/Framework?...ellasynth.html http://www.shell.com/static/rotella-...al-5w40-z7.jpg I was at the local speedway and a guy suggested it to me. Its only 15 bucks for 5 quarts. He has a 9 sec turbo mustang sooooooo Just wondering on any opinions. ??? |
Re: Anyone use Rotella?
I'd use it. I used regular Rotella T to break my engine in actually.

Re: Anyone use Rotella?
I've been running the Rotella synthetic 5w-40 in my daily driver Saab 900 turbo and all seems fine. It's on it's second oil change with the Rotella and I've been boosting around 15psi. The car seems happy (for something shaped like a shoe) so I'll probably stick to using it.
