Hey fellas, just wondering if anyone here has ever ------ rigged a k03 audi turbo on a D?
The flanged is totally fucked up, I just finished mocking up my adaptor flange and will be sending it to the machine shop tomrrow to be made.

Ill post some pics when its done.

 

Is that the turbo from the 20valve VW?

 

I saw a guy on honda-tech awhile back run a K03 on a D16z6, very small turbo, I think its even smaller than a T25 if not the same size. So Just keep that in mind, its not very big, your gonna get quick spool, lots of torque, mild wheel spin and a turbo that dies off pretty quick, I'd bet torque drops around 5 grand and fast. But will it work? yup

 

I got the turbo , and damn it is small but this is my first kit, pretty much got everything for next to nothing, maybe 250 can.

I got the k03 with no shaft play, HF manifold, SS 2.25 charge piping, talon smic, talon bov, chipped p28 with uberdata, some 450s and a resitor box, manual boost controller.

Hoping to run about 7 or 8 pounds on stock internals

 

ya it will be a fun little setup, besure to take pictures along the way and we can post them up in our projects section =)

ya i have a t25 on mine and i dies off at like 5500 rpm so ya its fun with the quick boost and for some reason i have lots of tire spin once the boost hits

 

sweet, im so excited to get this thing done, but I dont want to rush it.
