anybody use CP pistons?
sup guys, i just got a set of cp pistons for my h22a1 engine today. i heard that cp pistons are the same as je pistons. is that true? i'm gonna run like 10 psi daily and 15 psi at the track.
If it is true, it'd be like Toyota compaired to Lexus.
I've never heard of that before, the only thing ive heard is that they're one of the few pistons that are DEAD accurate, in-spec, and worry free.
You get what you pay for, dont skimp on anything in the rotating assembly.

JE/SRP are not the same as CP pistons, CP makes very good pistons they are just not nearly as reconigized as JE. Lots of big hp imports are running CP's.. The fastest fwd car in the world uses them
Lisa Kubo/Marty ladwig,, Nick Novak, Nelson Hoyos
Pretty much all the high HP GM Ecotech engines are using CP, but there are some hondas like Laskey racing, and John brown.
Btw, your h22 is sleeved right? Forged pistons will not work in FRM sleeves.

no, my h22a engine is not sleeve. i plan to just put in those pistons. i'm thinking of running 9psi daily. i'm gonna get my engine balance tomorrow, then i'm gonna install it next week. this is what i got for my engine
-cp pistons 9:1
-aebs head bolts
that is pretty much the only thing is gonna be upgraded for my internal.what would happen if i run those cp pistons with stoack sleeve. 9 psi
