Anybody boosted a D15A3?
It's a noobie question, and I've had no luck with the Forum search function (gives me a blank screen), so I'm asking here:
Has anybody boosted (via a turbo, duh), a Honda D15A3?
I've got a 1987 Honda CRX Si (1st Gen CRX), and I'd like to know if anybody's ever done this before. Thanks.

I found some 1st gen teg forum that was boosting their vacuum-advance d16's, so its not all that different.
The motor is fine for boost (under 200whp), its the electronics that suck. Its not exactly mpfi with controlable advance you're dealing with. But then again, that hasn't stoped most people here from boosting useless piles of ---- that didn't offer ignition control.

thanks for all the replies and cool info....I've clearly got some homework to do before I tackle this project
for ignition/fuel control I was thinking of going with stand-alone DIY engine-management via MegaSquirt; anyone know if its possible to make that work with ancient vacuum-advance technology?
