I poped the bonnet of a celica gt4 today at a car yard and the turbo look pretty big t3/t4 ? has anyone used one on a d-series?Are they a good turbo or not?

 

it's a peashooter turbo, about the equivalent of the T25 on 2g dsm's. that's the stock turbo on my MR2, and it falls flat on its face after 5000rpm, but i've got 2.0L to your ~1.6 so it might work okay. it spools like a ----------er though due to the twin scroll..

 

really cause the comp cover looked huge like t04 sized?Anyway im sticking to my t3 roller

 

maybe it was an upgraded turbo.
in that case, can you get a pic of it? i wonder if it would bolt onto my car, hehe..
