i had a d15b7/z6 head

7psi ....i had radiator problems...it overheated and a month later....one of the rings went

no pinging ...timing was set at 10 btdc (maybe i couldnt hear it from the open downpipe)

 

9.5 is a good comp for street use... I'm still considering on what comp I'm going with my built motor, thinkin 10.1 might be my goal. We'll see

 

8-9-1 compression on a vtec 16 sohc , with cupped pistons for that fact of turboing the engine and yes the rest like good fuel management and such things...
that is just my opinion. just use your factory block and vtec head throw a little money into it like forged cupped piston and turbo it you should run great, at least for street, dont know for the track
