Default Chrysler fan

i was at my friends dad's shop looking for parts for my kart, and i found a cooling fan labeled a chrysler. It is about 16 inches, and only 1.5" deep. We hooked it up to my battery and it worked fine. Do you guys think that would flow well enough for my engine?? It should would be alot better for some extra room for my turbo. The hard part will be mounting it....... and suggestions or hints.
