Default Another turbo SHO checking in...

After seeing a post regarding a custom turbo SHO (well, they are all custom I suppose) from here, I thought I would join. I would very much like to get in touch with the owner of the aforementioned SHO if anyone knows him. I believe 'whitey' originally posted on the vehicle. I would like to see what kind of gains I might expect with some head work and cams, as the other SHO has. Here are some pics of my SHO and a dyno sheet. Engine mods include: 3.2L, 9:1 JE pistons, EH intake, 60-1 HIFI, FMIC. Boost @ dyno was 12.5 psi. Oh yeah, and a pic of Brittany Daniels, because she is so **** hot!!

I can't see her. The car's cool, total sleeper but I wouldn't spend the money on it, that's just me. Now if someone would give it to me, I would pimp it.

Oh yeah by the way in HMT you can say ---- ---- ---- ---- and ------- ------- -------, If you want,it's fun too.

very nice, whats the 1/4 mile times? Did you run the downpipe over the trans and back? Also if you have pistons why are you only running 12 psi? You need to boost the ---- out of that thing. What are you doing for fuel management?

wow those are impressive numbers, thats gotta be damn fast even being soo heavy. Is there any truth to the rumor that turbo and fast SHOs have problems with transmissions holding up? Ive heard of a few guys blowing gears...

Whitey, yes, the downpipe runs over and behind the trans. Right now, my wastegate is screwed up. I am getting a new unit soon, along with a new engine management system. Right now I am using a SHOSHOP chip, with a SFMU, bored fuel rails, 47lb injectors and larger fuel pump. It is sooo pig rich with the SFMU though, so I am looking forward to getting it tuned properly. I am fully expecting 500whp with more boost and a better A/F. Get your friend to dyno that thing soon. With head/cam work and over a bar of boost, I bet he puts my numbers to shame. Also, 3rd gears do go bye-bye often. My entire gearset is cryo'd, but 3rd only lasted 13k miles. I am looking into a custom heavy duty gearset that will be good for all the HP I can throw at it. Very expensive though, so I will just go through all the extra 3rd gears I have lying around first.

BTW, did I read right that your friends car trapped 117? The slip I saw only read 109. While this car ran 13.1 with a lot less power than it has currently (100 less), until I get some slicks I am stuck in the 13's. 1st and 2nd are pretty useless right now. Last time out ran a 13.5 @ 115 on a 2.6 60' Gained 34 mph in the last 1/8th though, so yeah, your numbers should be improved much if he can run full throttle the entire way! Keep us updated.
