6g D series use aluminum pans.

drill hole on pan.
clean it, roughen the surface with eg. sandpaper.
mix JB, put on JB wait till it`s tacky, install, done

Make the hole only just large enough to thread the barb fitting through the hole. Get it to start threading in (and make sure it isn't pointing down) and before it threads all the way in put jb on that ---- and then thread it the rest of the way in. After it's in you can put more jb around the base of it. Just make sure everything is really clean, and you give it lots of time to dry fully.

I wouldn't. I don't like to put anything on the inside. I'm scared of ---- falling off at 7000rpm. JB weld on the outside should hold fine. I've never had any problems.

yeah all single cams take 3.5 quarts. You can also use Hondabond instead of jb weld. I have seen some people tap the pan and put the JB inside of the pan and it seems to hold just fine. I plan on putting HOndabond on the inside and outside. What do you gues prefer? Is it better to go with a barb fitting or go with a screw in type fitting (like earls.)
