From what I remember the D16A6 has a composite head gasket which sucks big chunks. Many people have made a TON of power on a stock MLS headgasket and headstuds, so I see no need to go with an aftermarket piece.

well i guess its oem ftw then... i am goign to go order it tomm or sometime this week and im waiting for craig at TT to get back to me about my studs..

the d16a1 (and maybe the dohc zc, im not to sure) head gasket is not metal, its graphite. Thast why people say get an hks mls one for about $115.
Thats too much money IMO, and they are getting harder to find, so I plan to get a copper HG made for about $60.

Is there a web site that has or that is strickly Dohc ZC aftermarket part or just have stock zc parks?, i have searched and searched and cant find nothing

like i said somwhere else in this thread i can get an HKS metal one for $111 shipped but it raises compression to 9.9:1..

i believe there was a TSB about those HG for EF's back in the day. my old CRX Si had 245k when i took it apart and i believe its was the original carbon/paper HG

they are the same.. the say they are good up to about 250hp
