I think i might have to jump on the making your own manifold wagon when i get home. it seems pretty easy if you have a little patience and are willing to do a little trial and error work. :P


serisouly though, i think im gonna try making one.

Yes, everything is sc 10. I got the 6f straight section, they gave me a 7f piece for the price of the 6f piece. Sc 10 is more than perfect for this type of mani. It will just sit like that for a while because I'm returning my pos mig and with permission from the wife I'm getting a tig.

that is a beautiful DIY manifold. McMaster rocks! I get really cheap stuff from them since I used to order using my ship's address and military title. They ship my ---- quick as hell too and usually receives it within a week. I guess they think that I'm ordering "for" the ship instead of personal use.....

Just shoot her a link to full-race.com and say "baby.. I can make these manifolds at 1/18th the price"

she stops talking to me for hour after I told her how much it costs :P But after a good traditional man to woman begging it's all good.
HOMEDEPOT ROCKS!!!! I bought my mig there two months and half ago, abused the ---- out of it and returned it yesterday with no question asked All 500 dineros back into my hand.

i found schedule 40 but not 10

1 1/2" pipe fitting 2 1/4" radiuspart number 43425K151 price $6.53

it'd work but it really doesn't need to be that thick. Mild will be easier to cut so its not a terribly big deal.
