I'm sure hes using Schedual 10 304 1.5in stainless pipe, pretty much the same stuff we make all our manifolds with.

SCH10 is plenty thick for a manifold like this.

Mcmaster Part #
45735K215 (price 4.33)

And if you want a Straight peice of pipe to match these elbows you can get that from mcmaster as well.

Mcmaster part#
4347K58 (price $41.4

It only comes in 6 feet sections, and I think shipping is kinda spendy too.

Full race doesnt use plumbers elbows to make their manifolds either.

maybe it is 10. i guess we will have to wait and see what he says. Either way i found some lengths of pipe at one of the local scrap yards for 1.50 a pound so ill probably just pick up a bit of that for the collector.

Yeah you can get 18" sections but its Schedule 40 instead. And still costs 31 bucks

And damnit I just ordered Schedule 40 bends and didnt need to.

Sched40:
OD = 1.9"
ID = 1.6"
Wall = .150"

Sched10:
OD = 1.9"
ID = 1.682"
Wall = .109"

Wall Difference = .041"

lol, no.. but this pipe was never designed to be used for manifolds. Sure it works just fine, but I've had several people comment on my manifolds saying hey that looks like plumbing pipe. lol, guess it doesnt matter when they heat up they all turn gold anyways.

Btw, schedual 40 is a hoe to cut in your average chop saw. Hell sch 10 is bad as it is.
