You see alot of claimed "equal length" headers around. Be it turbo manifold or a actual header, there off by more than 2-3 inches that is availible in variations of things like ring sealing and such. From the looks that manifold is pritty close, all ram horns are only off by less than 2 or 3 inches per runner from what ive seen. Yes exact equal length runners is sought after. Since no part of the motor is perfect a perfect header or manifold wont perform as well as a header thats say, imperfect in the right way. Thats why dyno time is such an important part of tuneing your engine by changing things like i/m runner length, i/m runner diamater, cams specs, header primary and secondry length, header diamater, ect ect ect.

By the way very nice manifold.

Hopefully ill be on tig in welding class this semester, i allready asked my teacher if i could make up a manifold he seemed to think its a good idea as a project.

im just check mcmaster and i was wondering if thats where you ordered your 1 1/2" pipe from. It shows the price to be

1 1/2" Part #44985K18 $124.45 for 6-7 feet.

Is this the correct stuff?
