Default Always go through Blaast performance!!!

traded for a turbo that was in decent condition untill i found out the truth!

sent it to Blaast performance and within a day of having it he's done and sends me this!! that snail was fucked up!

*Ok the turbine end bearing was welded in the center section. impossible to
take it out!
The turbine end piston ring wasn't on the shaft anymore! It was thorn apart
in the center section! i never saw that!
THe turbo is repaired now. No shaft play. Spins freely. It was rebalanced to
perfection, sandblasted and polished like a new and it's ready to go.
i warranty the job for 6 months.

Here'S your invoice for the rebuild:

basic Preventive rebuild.....................................
***extra parts charged***
Replacement compressor wheel 60 trim.............
replacement center housing................................
Stagger gap turbine end piston ring upgrade........
Dynamic seal thrust system upgrade....................*

NOw that was one fucked up turbo...

THanks again Blaast for the hook up! you guys did great!

we'll see if he has any pics but i dont think so...

I've always bought my turbos from Blaast. He's very easy to deal with and he's in Canada so its convenient for me. :P

Buy a shitty ss auto turbo for ~150 bucks, then do that. For less than a new garrett turbo, you have a turbo with a warrenty.

I've heard great things about blaast and I am sure their re-builds are top notch. Just dont buy their used stuff, especially off ebay.

** Begin Threadjack **

I picked this up to play with on my project. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8069115340

From that ad it seems like its in good shape and perfect for a small d16 turbo setup.

A week before the turbo arrived I have several emails going back and forth with blaast saying that the turbo is to small for a d16 no matter what the HP goals are. And that the turbo will require a rebuild before any installation. I get the turbo, sure enough there is shaft play and a nice metal on metal grinding sound when I spin it with my fingers.

** End Threadjack **
