Default AIResearch m10 turbo

i have a AIResearch m10 turbo off of a nissan pulsar. it has no a/r #. how can i find the a/r stats? i have searched google and have found nothing.

m10 is a 42/48 i believe. i know my 48/60 was a m11

then why is it so much physicly smaller than my 42/48 chrysler turbo?

There is more to a turbo than just the acual size, the trim and the heels that are used inside are what make the turbo's numbers what they are. As fot what the trims are on the M10 I can't help you, but keep in mind that the size of the trubo doesn't mean that it can't flow...without the numbers, you can't tell a whole lot about a turbo.

well, how can i find the numbers. im having a dificult time find the garrett/airesearch web site for some reason. and what exactly is trim?

Look over the turbo REAL good. Sometimes the numbers are on the back of the housings. If you have the Garrett part number you might want to call up a distributor and have them look up the turbo.

tks bird333. i got at it w/ a flashlidht and found ar47hot and ar48 cold. now i know that this turbo will work just fine for the cavy. 10psi here i come!!!!

Check for numerical stampings inside the inlet and outlet of the turbo.
