air/fuel gage

I have 2 bars into the rich side when I am just crossing but when I hit boost (1psi for now) the air fuel gage dosent register or if it does I am in the red on the lean side. what is cussing this? is my O2 sensor not fast enought or should I get a wide band O2? thanks

What is causing this? Jesus man, your leaning the ---- out of it!!!!Stop it right now before you blow it up!!!

You need more fuel. I find it odd that it is leaning out at only 1 psi, but if the gauge is working properly and the 02 is good, your about a week away from blowing the ---- out of your motor. :o

Re:air/fuel gage

It doesn't have to. If you are leaning out, you are leaning out. You need more fuel. Gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas........

Does it backfire at all?

Re:air/fuel gage

Re:air/fuel gage

Just try to richen it up and see what happens. If it idles like ---- back it off a little. Air fuel guages aren't the most acurate way of monitoring A/F ratio, but it's better than nothing, so you may or may not be as lean as it say's you are. I would definately stay on the rich side for now and see what happens.

Re:air/fuel gage

you dont have any pipes off your turbo? WTF.........and by the way, detonation is not caused by running lean, its by running rich. So dont be looking for detonation as a sign of running lean my man :-\

Re:air/fuel gage

dont pay attention to the cheap a/f gagues. they are just a 30dollar light show, put a wideband on it and see what is really going on.
