I know this is a stupid question... but i was wondering. because i still havent done it yet and will be hooking it up soon. anyways... If im going to be using an APEX SAFC... will it throw a CEL code... or will it be fine as it is changing the signal to the ECM or something because i would hate to have to use those pesky check valves...

 

i dont think you need any..cause with the SMC you dont..and there pretty much the same thing..

 

if you are using the hack, check valves are not needed, and in fact i think it would cause problems for the safc's readings.
