Default FMU+Inline Pump+Check Valves V.S. DSM Injectors+AFC/Diy-Map Limiter

What are your thoughts guys?
what is better... im talking lower boost here, like 8psi max. (on a bigger engine though, 2200cc)
Will the FMU setup be good enough? First I was all about the DSM's + some kind of afc or map limiter. But now im thinking an FMU and fuel pump will be fine but then I will have to screw around with check valves which seems not very clean.
I need opinions and advice.... the main thing I dont like about the afc+dsm's is that it advances the timing (apparently?)... and ill have to screw with the fuel settings alot.
FMU seems more plug and play but not as tune-able, and then you gotta mess with check valves.
Anybody got some advice for a newb?

The tune-ability will be great... but that doesnt really fit my budget right now, maybe ill just wait until it does.

for a limited budget, get a new pump, and FMU. Simplest and most cost efficient way to go.

FMU + pump + check valves = $320-340 for everything new, you can save $100 by finding a used FMU. Don't take it over 6 psi without being paranoid, and you'll have to spend more money to do anything with your ignition retard, or upgrades to run more boost like you'll want to, oh, two days after the turbo goes on.

AFC + 450cc = $320-$380 if you're getting the going rate on a used S-AFC. The ignition gets jacked forward into the boost region, and fixing it requires an ECU swap and chip burner (still cheaper than a BTM).

~$400-420 total is beyond your budget? Tuner app, chip burner, misc chips sockets supplies, and 450cc injectors come to about ~$380, the P06 to run it on... I've bought six in the last two months for $15-30 because it's a broke *** lame weaksauce no performance DX ECU. You end up with full control of the fuel/ignition, revlimits, various sensors, can set VTEC output up as your shift light, launch revlimit, and upgrading to a GM 2 bar is pretty simple.

I know you want boost NOW, but a week or two of scraping pennies will pay off in the end.

Ya I really want to go bigger injectors and an AFC but i am not sure i can pull it off since i have seen nobody turboing a 6thgen accord. For the FMU i think i will end up paying close to 200 since i need to buy my missing link new as there is not gonna be a used one for a 99 accord. Anyone think i can pull off bigger injectors on my 99 accord without having to buy new injectors(pricey)?
