Aerocharger seems to be the next big thing, all the MB diesels that are kicking *** with power and emissions are using something like an aerocharger but with the variable A/R controlled by a solenoid. They don't list the peak power or torque at one RPM, they list the RPM range at which the motor puts out that amount of power. Very long, flat graph.

the only country that calls the DOHC VTEC of 99-00 the Si is the states, everywhere else calls them either SiR or something similar.
the USDM EX is commonly referred to as the Si, most commonly in canada.

veddy interesting.. it does look like something geared for oem. that aerogear map looks like it would suit b18a's very well.

thats right... forgot about that, the vains turbo's are neat... although i seem to recall reading that they are a poor choice of turbo if your a drag racer... gota look though my old issues of SCC...

anyone see that double compressor turbo in last months SCC? that was sweet

on a side note, i was watching the history chanel or was it discovery? either way it was talking about magnets and the use of them as berrings... because they never have contact with the other surface they never ware out (short of the magnet becoming de-magnitized) although not likely an option w/ something so small as a turbo berring it sure would be neat... no friction to worry about which would mean no heat.

thats a good idea, and they do have pretty small, powerful magnets nowadays
