Default Advise me on turbo setup

Sup guys, hav'nt been on this site in forever. I have some q's about a setup i'm contemplating. I'm currently driving a 92 cx. Getting ready to buy a z6 head and intake manifold cheap off on of my friends so i'm gonna do the mini-me thing. Also, i have a my old beater probe gt that is now junked. Hrmm..
I bet you guys are thinking what i am, lol. Anyways, just wanna make sure i'm right. It's a ihi rhb5 turbo right? And i can use my cx manifold with an adapter plate? Would it be good to use the side mount off the probe or would it be worth it to get a conquest/starion fmic?

So far i have:
probe turbo
probe smic
cx manifold
probe injectors (330 or so right?)
probe blow-off valve (worth a ----?)

so i'll just need to get:
rhb/cx adapter plate
rhb downpipe adapter
FMU
1g dms blow-off valve
charge pipes (who's selling mandrel bends nowadays?)
oil line kit (stealthmode)

Not looking for crazy boost on this as it needs to get me back and forth to work for awhile until my crx is done. Push like 5-9 psi. Trying to do this car CHEAP hence the FMU, i know standalone is the way to go. I know about uberdata but i honestly don't know enough about it and i really just wanna throw a setup together so i have something fun to drive on that long drive to work. I paid $800 for the car and spent about $200.00 on a new fender, front bumper, headlights and corners and have been driving it ever since. Runs like a top. I bought the car off a friend who drives a SRT-4 and is always talking crap about my hatch, so i would like to be able to hang with him, using the car i bought from him for ~$2000.00 including the price of the car/fixes that i've done to it Help me out guys, i definatly appreciate it!!

I'd still get your ECU chipped. Its better to run a basemap than an FMU any day of the year.

Might also be a good idea to make sure your turbo is in working condition - aka make sure there is none to minimal shaft play (side to side and front to back) also make sure it spins freely.

Might also want to upgrade to 450cc injectors if you can just so you can boost higher if you wanted to later. Also you wouldnt want to run into any fuel management problems by having TOO SMALL of injectors. Its worth spending the $50-60 bux on 450cc's.

Thats all I can think of now.

^^^^^^^^^Agreed, ECU chipping is the only way to go.

Ok, inform me a little bit more about the chipping. I'm not too familiar with it because my last setup was a revhard kit that used that ghey FMU. It's gotta be the ghettoest form of fuel management but it's the cheapest thing i could think of. I like the idea of uberdata but don't you need to get a ROM burner? Is there someone on here that chips ecu's for cheap? I'll do some searches on it here in a bit, just throwing the question out now incase someone wants to answers it.

Chip buring is cheaper than an FMU and rivals a full standalone as a reliable form of fuel management
