Oh I want to Boost
What I meant to say was, I dont want to Ruine / Damage my engine,
That Price of max 1,300$ does not include any Engine mods.
Thats my max price for the turbo setup + including instlation. (doing it my self)

So if it comes to uprating my engine with LS Rods/ Egal Rods How much would I need to Spend. ?
$500 or More ?

Come on D Series Lovers Help me

get a second car to whack a turbo on 'cos nothing ever goes right first time, especially if you need the car every day.

it cost me just over $1000 to build mine and then just under $200 to get it wideband/dyno tuned. that's what i suggest you do at the minimum. i've been boosted for almost 16k miles and 10k of that has been at 10-11psi daily. it's been on my car for just under 8 months.

if you have the $$ for rods and pistons i say do it.

JE pistons about $500, and EAGLE RODS $350, I got pistons on a ebay deal including b18c rods for $500, but I couldn't use the rods in my b16, so I got b16 rods from www.importparts.com, for $295 shipped, but this was on special for honda-tech members,, try import parts they have great deals and great service. but I dont think you need to rebuild an engine for low boost though, just trying to help.

If your really worried about it, buy another longblock and start building that why your driving your car. Then when its done, put that motor in and turbo. You ever blow it up, another one is in the garage. That's what I'm doing= no downtime.

In the last two months I've gotten:
D16y8 blown bearing
D15B2 going headgasket
D16A6 Missing valves

All FREE
Point is, put an add in "wanted" and you can probably find someone with one that needs a bearing or whatever even cheaper than that. Somebody has something.
