You should also look some more in your setup, something must be wrong about the fuel setup.

chek:

-Your oil if there is fuel in it, if so flush it, this will kill your engine. Running your 450cc/FMU might have put some fuel in your oil.

-To used an FMU setup you must hook the FMU to the intake manifold for vac/boost source, and find an other place for your MAP sensor cause it must not see boost, so this is why you need to put some chek valve on vac line that will go from your intake manifold to your MAP sensor. The chek valve must open when there is some boost in the tube that go to the map.

-if you want a good place for your vaccuum source, cut the power brake hose and put a T on it, then hook you wastgate, top port of BOV(not sure), boost guage.

-the lower port of the BOV should be hook to the pipe that the BOV is weld on, somewhere between the intercooler and the throttle body.

-Nothing except an air filter or a hose that go to the ground should be hook to your valve cover.

-Find someone that has a wideband oxygen sensor to run your car for the first time and if the a/f ratio go over 12.5 in boost you turn the engine off and find what you did wrong, the F23 are not that hard to blow, it can be turbocharged but the good way, this way is the other side of the way you are now...

-FMU is the worst management you can find, search soon for something else.

Just telling us there is oil leaking out the turbo and that it smokes we could have let you know what was up right away.

WOW.............. I read A LOT of flaming ................

Seriously though ... you need some help....

here it is ....

if your going to stay with the FMU..... fine ....

but....

you need these things to make that work ...........

you need AFPR, FMU, smaller injectors..... I don't even know if an AFPR will turn the pressure down enough for those 450's..... whats the lowest pressure the fuel rail can hold and still idle the car ?

The greddy BOV .... the top fitting is used........... the bottom one goes "T" into the wastegate source from your turbo ........

so now for the hook up explaination ... I DON"T EVEN DRIVE A HONDA AND I KNOW THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR ---- SAKE.....
Get a boost guage.....

FPR or AFPR-------BOV (TOP CONNECTION)-----------FMU----------BOOST GAUGE----------INTAKE MANIFOLD................

------- = T connections..........

is the FMU adjustable......?? hope so ......

running 12:1 FMU with 450cc injectors.... your probably so rich you making LESS power then you did stock........

good to hear you put the stock injectors back in ..... but if your hitting anything more then say 4psi (WHICH YOU CAN"T EVEN TELL CUZ YOU DON"T HAVE A BOOST GUAGE) ... your fucked.... your going to lean out and BYE BYE MOTOR......

even if the turbo is blown ..... you should be able to hear the hissing or knocking or whatever BEFORE 50MPH.......... geeze........

are you running a too large of a oil feed line causing excess oil to get into the turbo and pop the seals......

I'd bet that when your return wasn't facing down (GRAVITY) your turbo's oil was backing up and it poped your turbo..... NICE ONE ....

so do some more research..... or don't..... and let us know when it pops......

oh btw .... I'm using an FMU AND AFPR... with my cavalier .... it runs fine all the way to 10psi on stock internals........
222whp..........

okay, I've posted how .... you asked for someone to show you pictures.... you must be a visual learner........ so here you go .....

Notice the vac lines and connections.............. geeze...............

this is how your center housing should be facing ........ DOWN.... let Gravity do the work.....

this is how the wastegate has to be hooked up ....... if you ---- it up anymore ... I won't help you again..... GEEZE.....

anything else.... just ask ...... oh ya ... the guy that said this is HOMEMADETURBO.COM... is completely right ... you bought a prefab kit ..... go home ..... prolly won't even get there before ur motor blows......

haha sorry to be so mean ... but you are on HMT.....

hey, thanks for the photos. Yes, the middle of my Turbo (oil system), the oil Return nipple is facing Down (Vertically). I know that oil return only works using Gravity. What do you mean buy using a large of oil feed line?? Are all oil feedlines pretty much sized for turbo? Anyways, as you're using Internal Wastegate for your turbo, i'm using External and YES, my Wastegate Vacuum source is CONNECTED to the Turbo Nipple. AS for BOV, it the bottom nipple connected with a FMU using a T fitting. and The top (will go to a Boost Gauge, have a boost gauge but not going to install it untill getting my new Turbo). As of FUEL System, i'm going to replace it with Hondata. I'm not going to mess with the engine at as of right now cause i'm waiting for my New Turbo to come in. I've take the car to a Mechanic today and he said that nothing is wrong with the Car, just the Turbo Oil Seal is POPPED (you're right on that part). But see, i bought the Turbo used off of Ebay for 140 bucks, when i received the Turbo. I saw on the Exhaust said of the Turbo was very Black and had Oil Smell. Before installing the Turbo, i clean it and wiped it with a Dry Rag and i thought the turbo was nice and everything since it spins freely and didn't have any Shaft Play. But the guy who i bought it from didn't mention anything about if the turbo has any oil problem. Anyways.. Appreciate it for the help.

No problem about the help .... anytime ...... you've almost got everything correct....

your BOV is still hooked up wrong ......

The top nipple needs to go to a Vac source (connected with the FMU, AFPR, and BOOST GAUGE)........ leave the bottom nipple alone .... (once your car is up and running I'll tell you what it does)........................

Notice in my pics above........ the BOV is connected with the FMU and AFPR and boost guage....... all inline with each other... whatever order you want.... and then finally goes into the intake manifold so all of the stuff connected has a boost reference to go off of..............

but the Boost guage can't go to the bottom of the BOV it needs a vac source..... when your intake manifold see's boost the vac source will turn into a boost source....

thus on boost guages you see vac and boost..........

so disconnect the bottom nipple completely .......

if you need a diagram let me know ... I'll take 2 minutes out of my day to "paint" up a diagram of the connections ........

as people were saying before you need a check valve as well.................

so rebuild ur turbo ...... your bov will not go off if you do not connect it the way I specified above..........

Good luck ... anymore questions email me .... leehart9@hotmail.com

Have a good one ....

DO you understand how to hook up the BOV ......... you don't be wanting compressor surges..... with that newly rebuilt turbo ...... thats bad news....

The check valve I'm even a little iffy on ..... my car doesn't require one .... since I got my PCM reflashed to SEE boost..... I swapped out my map for a 3 bar GM map (cavalier)..........

so I never had those problems..... I'm not a honda guy ... I just love em ....

mmmmm vtec turbo ....
