The trans kinda looks like what you would expect a rwd trans to look like, but it still sends the power to the front 2 wheels. Those cars are a pain in the *** to do anything on.

 

Kinda simliar to wtf is it called, the chrysler concord iirc. Longitudinal layout but fwd.

 

Weird... seems like a waste of good engine layout, lol. RWD would be so JDMWTFBBQ.

 

^Mmm sounds as though you know some of teh pain in the A this build can and has been lol.
Yeah the layout is interesting I understand that it had something to do with improving the balance of the cars weight ratio, I have also heard there was a thought to do a rear will drive that was scraped in teh production phase but this is believed much less. I got teh turbos back and I must say my 50.00 junk yard turbos have received quite the upgrade (at an expense of course, but well worth it. They were both completely rebuilt and cleaned up and the compressor sides upgraded upon request. here are the pics













Some of the exhaust piping, and the lower radiator hose also came in should not be too far from the next phase from here.

I have taken apart more of those trans from the more then I can or which to recall; maybe 40+

I have had a dailydriver since about september so I have no clue as to how many hours I am into it and as for cost well, more than most lol. I am trying to get as much done to it as I can so that as I turn up teh boost not too much breaks and whenever I see a good deal I jump on it if the budget afffords it see the mod list on the first page and then know that there is more that is slightly or unrelated that is also being done
