Grrr the build is going seriously slow at the moment so not too much to update. I ordered my ARP2000 rod bolts from IPP, and they sat on their hands for two weeks, then after sending them a what's up email they replied that they were out of stock with no ETA on them, so I immediately called ARP and that had 13 sets on the shelf, IPP was just too lazy to do the leg work to have them drop shipped. So I called Lightning Motorsports and they agreed to process the order and have them drop shipped had them in my hands 3 days later; they will get my business in the future.

The intake manifold is still out of state waiting to be completed and the block is at the machine shop (waiting for the rod bolts). I will be dropping them off today though so at least that aspect will be back on track. But at this rate it will be March before I can even fire it up, I had hoped to see the engine home and ready for me to start putting it back together by now. I had also decided to go with a set of reground WEB cams again and a set of Compcam springs that are a little stiffer than what I have. Once this comes back together it should be exciting. :(. None the less here are a few pics of the rod bolts.

Oh wow a few other things I forgot about that are slightly build related. I decided to fab up some tie bars and a strut bar here's the tie bars.

Here is a brace that I welded to my existing strut bar. I did it as practice because I am teaching myself how to weld lol. (That is the spare engine and the turbos and related parts are out so I don't halt progress pulling parts once my engine is ready, someone will ask I am sure)

I also welded up my wastegate dump pipes that will be incorporated into this build as well

Can't remember if I posted this or not but I had a fuel rail line fabbed out of PTFE should have a little higher flow rate to keep up with the increased flow coming into the pass. rail.

Wow it has been a while, well engine is back from the machine shop and the bottom end is all back together and revitalized. I am SLOWLY :( putting it back together mostly due to an income reduction and having to compensate by doing more work for other people, but that has not been all bad as I was able to teach myself how to powdercoat meanwhile.

Intake manifold welds came together nicely too, that took a while I was a little worried

Should be back together and ready to re-dyno tune by next month.
