Hey guys, been a while . my integra XSI was written off because it needed a new bumper and since i didnt want to pay shipping from japan..ICBC wrote it off, they wouldnt listen to me and use a USDM bumper but anyway....

I got a 1990 CRX SiR and im planning on doing a turbo build on it, just curious with the front end being 1" longer will I have any problems with fitment? or will it just take alot of custom work? also curious if anyone has a pic of a decent turbo manifold that would fit good, really isnt much room between the rad support and engine

You'll need a intercooler from japan. or.....you'll need tools from japan to do that custom work if you use a non jdm intercooler.

 

just curious why Id need a JDM intercooler ? only thing i can see needing from japan would be correct piping for an intercooler which i can get made by some buddies. My car is more wide in the front end slightly and longer, there are tons of different intercoolers i could fit in there

 

US parts will make VTEC act weird.

 

They're taking the ****, post **** and this will end.

 

I suggest relocating the vtak solenoid to the intercooler outlet, so vtak comes in quicker. Proven 30hp.

strange because another guy in town has a non glasstop SiR with a turbo build and he didnt use jdm parts

So again, anyone who can explain there reasons and share their turbo build knowledge ?
