Default 9:1 vs 10:1

Ok, right now Im running stock 10:1cr, Should I got with forged 10:1 or 9:1? I like how 10:1 make more power per PSI but 9:1 handles more boost... what are yalls thoughts?

you will make more power on pump gas with 9:1 compression. theres a huge writeup on this topic on boosted-hybrid.

i think it would probably be best to get the 9:1

you can do the 10:1 compression but 9:1 would be more idealme thinks

lower compression is a lot less detonation prone and a LOT less sensitive to poor tuning.

higher compression is the obvious opposite but will make more off-boost power and more torque through the power band but if you make a booboo and something goes wrong, its a lot easier to blow ---- up.

but nothing a good water injection kit cant handle
