60mm wastegate to big?
im in the last few days of fabrication on my chevy colorado
a few months ago a bought a 60mm wastegate and now im wondering if perhaps it might be to large. (is that possible?) i would hate for it to "pulse" and have to fabicate a new wastegate flange on the manifold
the setup is a 3.5 inline 5 cylinder - auto trans - 61mm t3/t4 (.82 or .83 hotside) - air/water cooler - 80lb injectors - running e85 - at 10-12 lbs
thanks in advance

i dont think so especially on that kind of boost thats over two inches , but you have to take in consideration more surface area allows for more gas to pass through it but at high boost application it can push the "door" open prematurly but you be just fine

I don't know if that was directed to me, but I agree with busa. Your wastegate will have no problem dealing with boost creep
