I didn't cut anything, it sits right in there perfectly. It sits behind it and is bolted into the frame of the car.

Took me a while to get it in there too.

really....post a picture with the IC mounted and the bumper off.

and a painted intercooler has no effect on the air, and paint is holding fine. I know lots of people who painted there intercoolers

I don't have one with the bumper off. But when I go to install my front mount I will snap a pic real quick, before I take it down. I am not sure when I am going to get around to installing it. It is a JRC 5" that is painted black..

That is about the best one I have from that kind of an angle.

If you want more pics of mine, maybe it could answer some questions

reminds me of when I first got my turbo setup on. I had my charge pipes running somewhat like that except instead of having the sidemount ic mounted where you guys have it I had it actually mounted by the headlight in the corner of the engine bay :P. It was only a temporary setup I bought from the guy I got some of my turbo stuff from. I replaced it with new charge pipes and a front mount like a month later.

My setup is the cheapest I have ever seen. My dad owns a talon, so I had a garage full of parts, if you didn't notice they are all dsm parts. LoL. And the 16G turbo I got brand new off ebay. The guy had no idea what he had. He thought it was a 14b. WE brough it home and compared it to another brand new 16g, the one my dad has on his talon now, and they were identical in shaft play and overall characteristics. IF I told you the price I bought it for you would probably fall over. Let just say it was close to $500 less then what my dad bought his for... :P

yep still holding strong. They work just fine for low boost. :P Meaning under 20.. haha. My dad has 2 on his car right now, just b/c we ran out of the great all-might silicone junk from road race, and they are still holding fine, like 2 years after the fact.

He has a talon as stated a few posts above, running around 20-22 lbs, depending on weather, and just about every bolt on imaginable. It rips. My goal is to beat him.

why did you hide your intercooler so fare back. the point is its suposed to get lots of air. thats why most 1g dsm guys like me. and 2g guys with there stock smic take there fog lights out and even cut there wheel well plastic to get more air in and throw it. so hiding it trying to get that sleeper look is geting you less air =more heat =less power and makes it not so great.
