i bet your going to shear the turbine shaft because of the wicked compressor surge that tings going to have at 5 psi......



the hx40 doesnt even show on holsets compressor map below 10 psi


not knockin your setup, i say crank the boost to 25 psi and feel the fury

man. you wrote something about T3 trubine housing. you have changed stock hx40 turbine housing on T3 housing? how? may be you have photos?

im glad its working for you BUT by swapping on that .48 housing yes you do change some of the characteristics of that turbo and how it works, im sure that now it will provide you with decent low end power but by choking the crap out of it with that .48 housing im sure it wont support more than 12-15 psi because of its massive compressor CFM movement. but im also sure youre motor wont hold 15psi, so you have nothing to worry about.

You may have bastardized an hx40, but did you have to take the english language down with it? im sorry we use "maths" and "physhits". I guess you cant comprehend that the .48 exaust housing CANNOT flow enough air to have the compressor housing in its efficancy range. all of that air in the motor HAS to go somewhere. I have no clue where you think it ends up, but all of that air that the hx40 compressor is pushing out has to go right back through the exaust housing, wich CANNOT flow enough air without insanely over spinning and throwing hot air like a blow dryer. but whatever man. be a dick about it. ---- physhits.

lol................Its funny when we have to make a brutal comment about stuff to get some real answers to some our hardest questions thats when the explanation crew comes out.But when u make a post to get some good advise you get some half *** answers.But anyway I like the the answers i got now and its more understandable.
