3lbs no matter what i do...what can be wrong
i have a manuel boost controller, i turned the thing all the way to the left, it is still at 3lbs, i turn it all the way to the right, it is still on 3lbs.....can the safc have anything to do with it? Before i was able to control it, but now i can't. What are all the possiblities that can be wrong?

My compressor housing was leaking.I siliconed the bitch and now its gangsta.
If its a t3 check that there is a gasket between the compressor and housing. |

i have an idea....follow my directions carefully...
1) take off MBC 2) take off whatever filter you have 3) go try again.... [your taking off the MBC so you dont hit too much boost] i took mine off tonight...started to pull ------ hard, i look over at the boost gauge as it hits 15psi :o and let off... |
Re:3lbs no matter what i do...what can be wrong
what kind of filter did you have on it?

I was having a similar problem today until I crushed my dsm bov. Now it boosts fine. If your charge pipes are good, it sounds like you've got a bov or wg leak.

i took out my mbc and connect the turbo straight to the wg, it boosted like 1 lbs...i took out all the vaccum lines where the turbo and the wg is not connected, it boosted like 0 or 1 lb i forgot but yea.....not seems to be loose....could it be the turbo itself?
