dude, a 3" exhaust is going to be loud no matter what muffler you put on it, the only time it's not going to be loud is in boost, but cruising can get pretty bad. why not just run a 3" dp with a cut out going to a stock exhaust? then it will be quiet as hell when you want for cruising, and you can just open up the cut out when you want/need the power, it will be less restrictive than a full 3" exhaust, cost less, and you have the option to be quiet when you want

I would do that but don't you have to have 2 different tunes?

How can I switch between tunes?

no you don't have to have two different tunes. basically, you're going to lose a lot of performance with a stock exhaust obviously. just get it tuned with the dp open, which is when you'll be taking advantage of the real power anyways.

Yeah but wouldn't it run really rich with the cutout closed?

I have an Apexi WS right now....super quiet..not good for turbo at all, but much better than stock.

Just get a custom 3inch mandrel system done at a muffler shop. If it rattles you can complain and make them do it till they get it right. Plus the guy that mentioned the magnaflows I also think they are the best mufflers. My work sells them click on the link.
