205 50 14 tires on VW steelies.. Clearance issues?
Hey Guys,
For my sport compact racing shootout I can get myself a set of 205 50 14 drag radials on VW steelies. I'm just wondering what you guys think about running these on my 93 hatchback? Any clearance issues at all?
Andrew

Wrong forum i think but,
I run 205/50/15 all day long on my EF. It's all in the offset of the wheel. So knoing that they are VW Steelies mean nothing.
But to let you know, my 205' are an inch bigger in diameter then yours so you should have no problem. Most guy run a 195/50/15 on there hondas and that;s still bigger then what you got.

my bad. Thanks for the insight. I'll get the backspacing of the rim when I talk to the guy again. Z6 turbo with a t25. I'm gunning for a 13.99.. I'll be totally appreciative and happy with all my efforts so far so long as I get this.
