I was running 17.5 psi on 450's and the hack for about 3 weeks. At 17.5psi on a never ever tuned afc I hit 235hp/222tq. (Yeah me!!!)

Uh, then I must have had faulty pistons or something. x10

I keep hearing stuff like I need 800 to 1000cc to do 20PSI plus a 50 shot but that seems like a little over kill. What is a good daily driven duty cycle to run at? I don't mind running them a little harder than normal but 100 or 90 is a little much. I would rather spend a little more money and get bigger or would 90% be safe for daily driven.

I read that 360 whp deal on here somewhere, I don't remember who said it and I don't have a link, but I'm 100% sure that I read it here. wtf is "pure hot air"? any air coming out of a turbo is going to be hotter than when it went in, it's physics, you can't argue with that. if you compress air it heats up, or the volume of the container changes, but we're not working with balloons so you get hot air. and you can contact jeff @ homemadeturbo.com about running 308 whp on 450cc injectors. I never said to push an injector of 90% duty cycle, I said @ 90%, not over. why would you post something if you wanted to hear a certain response? to confirm what you thought you ------- moron. and there's nobody that I know of that's running 20psi on a d-block daily, so I don't know how anyone could expect to hear what everyone's running as if it were a common everyday occurance.

Well supreme at turbod16.com runs 20psi and makes about 310hp. Im going to tune this summer for 20psi ill let you know then I run cp pistion 20. over 9:1, eagel rods, acl bearings, oem headgasket on stock sleeves. I use a stock head and arp headstuds. I run a t3 60/63. with ubderdata, right now im at 10psi cant work out my 3bar yet and this shitty weather dont help.

OMFG. click my goddamn link. It tells you exactly what is needed for certain ranges of horspower. wtf.

Quote Jeff owner of EvansTuning

"The following is guide for selecting fuel injectors corresponding to horsepower and stock fuel pressure (40psi at the fuel rail). The sizes were estimated using 90% duty cycle of the injector. The sizing of the injector is heavily dependant upon the air/fuel level the engine is tuned at (ex. 12:1 air/fuel will take more cc's than 12.5:1 air/fuel) :

310cc 200~220whp
370cc 220~280whp
440cc 280~330whp
550cc 330whp~380whp
660cc 380whp~425whp
720cc 425whp~475whp
880cc 475whp~525whp
980cc 525whp~600whp"

end quote.

yeah those estimates are rough though.

On 550s you should be able to make up to and over 400hp,
and 650s up ive seen suport 550-650hp.Ofcourse this is all tuned with widebands.

t3 to4b 50 trim 24psi on 550s running some 11.01@123 in a 3100 pound car so you do the math.

So youre saying for 100cc of injector your gonna be able to squeeze out 100-200hp?!?

youre crazy guy. Ill stick with Jeffs figures, hes tried and true and easily the east coasts best tuner. There are some others out there too but Jeff is just amazing.

No wonder DSMs break so much.

Ok "moron" what is the point of posting in a forum? It is to further gain more knowledge or to enlighten someone else with your knowledge. I am not trying to confirm what I am doing. I am trying to determin the next path that I need to take. I have seen alot of stuff on injectors and alot of controversy as to what to be used so I am trying to clear that up. So "moron" I am not going to " post something if you wanted to hear a certain response? to confirm what you thought you ------- moron". And there are quite a few people that have and do run 20 PSI daily on there D block so don't go assuming that since the almighty kyle does not know of someone that there are not any out there.
