i'm not 100% postive that this is true, however, i've read it numerous times, and it just kinda seems to make more sense in my head.

Re: Is 2.0" Charge piping too small for the turb??
ive used both small and 2.5", my last setup i had 2.5" charge pipes, my current setup i have hose with about 1.75 ID, i have to say the lag is close to the same, if not a little less with the small pipe, and i made more whp with the same turbo using stock eclipse charge hose and some radiotor hose, and then the stock civic intake arm cut about 2" shorter which has probly a little over 2" id, my un-educated concusion is ---- it use whatever. unless maybe your flowing alot of air making alot of hp i wouldnt recomend small stuff

wow, been 8 years.....
but a Callaway VW kit from a Wabbit on Shitrocco using 2" OD pipes, using windshield washer fluid (high alky content) to cool the charge and help with detonation.......he then moved onto Ruf's until a dumb bitch in Miami and him on a 750cc scooter.....
Jeff was ahead of the times.....HMT 5-6 years before it ever happened
