do a compression check. im guessing d16z6 (excivic93)
if ok, you should be fine. 175k, never rebuilt, replace head gasket, timing belt? valves ticking? spark plugs clean?

the best/only way to tell is by doing a compression test. Do it and tell us the results.

do a ghetto test. take the spark plug wire out and see if the rpms drop. if it does then that piston is ok. if it doenst drop then that cylinder is bad. but its best to fork over the $20
