Default 15g and 14b size differences

I am contemplating using my old Crome map from my td04h-15g turbo setup on my new setup with the td05-14b that im putting together.

Wondering what the size difference is, and if I should be concerned with this working well as a basemap for this turbo setup.

Any input on the size differences? Visually not having them to hold side by side and just from what i can remember of the 15g, the exhaust side looks a bit bigger on the 14b but the comp side looks similar in size.

use it as a basemap and tune from there.

The 14b is definatly a way larger turbo than the greddy td04.

Yes, the TD04 15G that comes with the greddy is much smaller than the 14b, which is a TD05. They are tiny, I compared it to my 16g, my friend had one. There will be a difference, just tune the map and it should be fine.

Pretty much greddy and mitsu turbos are pretty un related as how they are labeled. Like you would think a 15G would be bigger than a 14B, and less than a 16G.. but that isn't the case at all.

I compared a 15g to my t3 42/48.

15g had a bigger cold wheel but smaller hot wheel.

I just put the 15g on a stock gsr last night.

4psi non intercooled, still pretty fast. No boost drop at high rpm.

when you guys say "15g" besure to say the prefix before it.. example TD05 15g or TD014 15g etc.. because a TD05 15g is definatly a bigger turbo than a TD05-14b.

If you put a TD04-15g on a GSR last night (the turbo from the greddy d16 turbokit) that thing is gonna be slow as hell.

I did put it on.

And its not slow.

You make it sound like it will make the car SLOWER than it already is unboosted.
Thats ALMOST impossible.

On 4psi its ------- quick. And its gonna stay that way.
Its my bros daily driver.

And no boost loss by 8k.
Took it to 9k just for the hell of it and it still holds.

the d16 greddy kit 15g held 11psi just fine. but it'd suck **** on a gs-r, it sucked **** on my d15b

glad to know the 14b is a decent step up.

hotrex: i **** on your manifold.
