14B any good?
Is the DSM 14b any good for a D-series?
I am looking for the 200hp range, but we all know once I get there i'll want more.
Is it worth it to get a 14b, or should I jsut go ahead and get the T3? Because when I switch turbos I'll have to switch manifolds, DP, etc. Or will the 14B be good for higher power?
How much hp can the 14B push out?
thnx

Look in the turbo projects and see how many people have used 14b turbos on a D. It is not a bad turbo at all. If you are already thinking of upgrading before you even get the parts, do yourself a favor and start off with a T3.
My 14b did 210hp at 11psi on my last set up, it was a fun turbo but somethings i didnt like about it were the goofy fricking J pipe need to bolt it to the hot side charge pipes, and that it was a bitch to clock. Honestly id say pick up a t3 right off, its worth it IMO
