Glad you aren't a total n00b, you have a basic idea in your head that doesn't suck. But, you are a little down on experience. Read some more of the stickies and search for similar setups, and use this forum to network with some of the finest - if rough around the edges - people you will ever e-meet in your life.
Thanks.Got my hf manny and adapter plate in,but I wont start on the civic until I get my clutch disengagement issues on my dsm fixed.Does anybody make a DP for 14b on a civic.

This is a budget build, but I don't skimp on things so heres the list
Ported and ceremic coated ht manny
Ported and rebuild 14b turbo 7cm housing
cleaned and balanced dsm 450's with resistor box
spoolin performance ic piping and
AN oil/coolant lines
full 3'' exhaust with dynamax race muffler
Griffin top to bottom flow ic (maybe)
aluminum rad with slim fan
2 stage boost control for the street tires
slicks for the track
act clutch with a street disc cause a puck disc is not going in my DD.
heavily ported z6 intake manifold
rebuilt b series tb
a/c and ps delete
hope this gets me into the 13's.
Watched a full interior z6 t25'd hatch run 15.0's all night last night lol.

It takes about 150 whp for the average Civic to run 13s.

Problem is you have to know how to drive, have the car aligned CORRECTLY, overly lowered or ebay suspension is instant fail, etc. Motor mounts or mount inserts to eliminate drivetrain flex, etc. Its not hard but the chassis has to work for you too, not just the engine.

your list seams solid, make your own downpipe, with your dsms im sure you have something laying around to cut up
its not much different then anything else( your dsm's) you tune the same if your on eprom? grab a wideband and go to town.

Since DSM transmissions are known to last 1000 miles us DSM haters aren't impressed by 500 miles. :P
