The newest time was that 12.5 and that was when we were trying to dial it in. It was a shitty day at the track becuase of weather so we only got that one run in. The car hasn't been to the track yet becuause the trans wants to be a bitch and keeps exploding. It probably doesn't help that he's out launcing the ---- out of it on the street ::) Hopefully this Saturday we can go to the track cause I gotta run my car too but its not a guarantee yet. I'll let everybody know...

The latest kill was a Mustang with a 347 stroker motor in it. The guy and all his friends almost ---- themselves with a Taurus smoked him. 8)

Gotta bump for some new times, if ya gottem. After seeing this set-up I went out and bought an abrasive mider saw ( for cutting piping with perfect angles ), and got a flex-core welder from a friend ( yes the gas-less welder sucks and makes ugly welds ). I'm working on doing some intercoolering piping on a Sr20 swapped 240sx ( 200K+ mile POS car with a bad ass motor ), then I'll be redoing the intercooler piping on my HMT civic.
Thanx for the idea.

My friends first car was a SHO, and he said the entire car fell apart around the heads, intake, and block ( meaning everything from water pumps, starters, altinators, fuel pumps, wiring, trannies ) and it ran 15.6. But who am I to judge the SHO, everyone says the 3S is a POS too, but I tend to disagree...

The car hasn't been back to the track since the 12.5 run. He really stopped working on the car cause he bought a bike. The car is overpowered for the trans and it keeps blowing out 3rd gear when you take it above 15psi so he was going to get stainless gears for it but he spent the money on the bike instead. Hopefully this winter he'll actually get back into the car cause it still never seen a full pass at the track.

lol, newbieforces killed these pics, I'll get some new ones soon. The update is the car is now scrapped. He bought another SHO, a black one with leather interior and he transferred everything from the white one to his new black one. I guess he was sick of the hardcore race look of everything gutted. :-\ At around Christmas I'll take pics of the new car and its non ghettoness. I personally liked the way it was, nothing sounded cooler than that car.

I know of a really good weight reduction, plop that motor in a first gen escort, the one with a manual steering rack. Should have no problem's getting it under 2000lbs.
I have seen the regular Tarus 3.0 V6 bolt up to the stock mounts, so I'd guess the SHO one would aso. And your sleeper points would go up a notch.
