Hey, my name is josh. i have a 94 GSR and i want to do a simple SAFE turbo setup. as in i dont want to spend much money at all and i dont want to take ANY chances blowing it up. Just a safe amount of boost i was thinkin 6psi. But please help me i dont know which junkyard turbo to get and manifold and i dont know what exactilly i would need to just make an inexpinsive turbo kit that is safe and runs good. PLEASE HELP!!! need to know wat the heck to get and what to do!!!! Thank you!

 

You don't happen to live in Prospect PA do you? Long shot but yeah... read the stickies, look at setups. Decide what turbo you want. Manifolds, if the price seems too good to be true it probably is. Manifold, pm eville140 i think he makes B series manifolds for like $250 shipped, rock solid deal. But yeah, just look around and you'll find all the answers you need man.

since you dont seem to have much experiance with boost and i doubt you know ---- about the management you are going to be using just do this.

find a 90-94 dsm (eclipse, laser, talon)

pull off the bov, turbo, intercooler, and injectors with the clips

then folow this set of insructions for the injectors

chip the ecu and run uberdata or crome

im also going to asume your not familiar with the fittings your going to need to do your oil lines so go here for a feed and return kit

you can get your self a blinging *** manifold from ssautocrap brace it before you use it though

then all you realy need is intercooler piping and some exhuast work

im not sure what you have avalible but i would suggest making friends with some one with a welder or picking one up and learning its not hard and well worth the cost

oh yeah and tune your ---- becouse thats not a cheap motor to replace lol

this wont be the fastest car out there but it will be better then no boost and hopefully you can learn from it and build a better setup as you figgure out every thing.
