Default welder acts like it keeps running out of gas

i just got a new tank, its reading like 1600psi, i have it set to 20cfm with the gas flowing like normal.. after a few seconds of welding, my welds go shitty like theres no gas. i went over and turned my wire feed to slowest and held it down watching the gauge and it was steady 20.. it doesnt happen everytime just way too often, wtf could it be? only thing i can think of is i need a new end for my gun

its a hobart 187 with about 1 tank through it

turn the flow down to like 12-15, the higher it is the more turbulence it makes and pulls and mixes air into the weld area.
or check the o rings that seal the torch

The gas nozzle is not clogged?
Just because the regulator says 20cf/h does not mean its putting that out. If it was a used regulator or was left sitting may be some webs in it.

probably a bad nozzle or insulator(the part the nozzle goes on to)
