like mentioned, that VHT stuff actually WORKS.. its been on my dump tube for half a year, PERFECT.

$8 thermal coating

Some manufacturers of the material use a green coating and some use black.

Do you guys think I'll have a problem with the wastegate flange welded horizontally? In my mind that's how I wanted it mounted but now I'm thinking I will have hood clearance issues. I really need to stop smoking that funny stuff. I have a problem thinking things through rationally. :1

I didn't have a wastegate at the time and this is my first time peicing together a kit.

Damn I wish I could have got it coated like that for thirty dollars, that looks nice.
Could anyone answer my question though?

i'd go with the brand these guys are using it's all ready been proven that it works as long as you aply it correctly

I think you will have a problem with it because the dump tube is gonna hit the manifold. if it directly above it.
