but you know most of these old school domestic guys still wont give us import owners our well earned props. even when they lost the race by 10 cars, they still think there American muscle is the ----.
I never use theory of a old school guy to build my car, I did before and ended up rebuilding. I used his theory and overgapped my piston rings.

Those aren't old school domestic guys, those are rednecks.
Engine theory circa 1910's is sound, thank you Sir Harry Ricardo. If you got bad advice from a redneck that doesn't understand what smaller bore higher revving engines like, that sucks. You should have talked to an old school domestic machinist, they'd set you straight about what they know vs what they don't vs what they need to.
