Some HMT style fabrication from across the pond!
Hi,
This is my first post so i thought i would dredge my photo bucket account for some photos of the stuff i have fabbed.
First up is a mig'd mild steel weld elbow mannyfold for a friends 3dr (kinda like a merkur). The engine is not the usual cosworth one but a zetec (same as in your zx3) with a fair bit of head work (all CNC'd), eagle rods, diamond pistons, GT30 and run with megasquirt that i mapped.
These pics are a couple of years old now from what i like to call my "pre TIG period".
Power was 330bhp@bar and much more now we have wound it up. Not had a chance to get back to the dyno but should be 400 bhp+.
Positioning the engine for new mounts
The flywheel we designed and had machined to run the cosworth clutch on the zetec and bolt to a T5.
Manifold before paint
Checking if the GT30 will fit.
Interior
Engine in and nearly ready to go.
Will chuck some pictures of other projects up in a while.
Cheers,
Doug,
Ipswich, Suffolk, England!
