Default some head welding

this is for a customer who wants some strength added in the water jackets for his tt bmw setup. i've only done two ports so far, i need to get some thicker filler wire. i'll post up pics of the finished head later.

the head, dirty as hell...

area to be welded before cleaning.

after some cleanup grinding with a small carbide burr.

welded up.

Very interesting. Is this a usual area of concern for that type of engine?

as soon as I saw that head I knew it was a bmw. bmw are known for breaking rocker arms if you over rev them, but I bever seem the actual head get damage

just trying to show something different that you don't get a chance to see too often. i've posted it on a bunch of different forums.

yes, I drive a HONDA, but this head is for a twin turbo BMW. this is hmt where it is all about boost. this kinda work could be done for any vehicle head, block, intake mani...
