thats what i was thinking, easily 3 hours of just welding, ~5 for fab, and 3-4 for install. not to mention the time it took to figure how to route everything.
at $65/hr for fab/welding labor you are at $1k then another $200 for parts

i didn't do any install... just the fab work. i had to install some stuff for test fitment, but then it came back out. i ended up charging $700 for everything.

you also have to keep in mind, the customer had to flat bed the car to the shop and back as well, since i'm dock loading only.

thats shitty!

you need to find a better location for a shop

or strike up a friendship with a local flatbed owner to help you out for cheap

and i bet he was super happy with 700. Dp, dump, charge pipes, IC mounting, plus a shitload of little things (intake mani flange, etc)...thats a lot of work for 700 imho. I bet you get a lot of repeat work from him/his friends.

You damn Canadians are too nice. How bout making me an adapter flange for my funky Volvo T25 flange to be able to bolt on a T3.

I'd say that was a steal for $700. I mean they'd probably pay $450 for the exhaust parts alone. IMO trailering it up there himself is called the cost of doing business with a fine fabber such as yourself. You need to be arogant sometims
