Yes it is. I showed Ne3ek to lay down a sweet bead in about 15 minutes. Scratch start is more difficult.

i strongly disagree, well 110 but still. This is the Thermal Arc Dragster 85, a 110v stick welder with a tig torch add on, scratch start.

how would you convert from regular household to 220V is it something you can buy a converter for. I need something temporary. seeing as how the house isn't mine. I was leaning on the smiley plasma, tig, and Arc welder but for $200 bucks I could use a grinder and a cutoff wheel hell for the money I could buy my own compressor and some air tools and still not spend the $500-$600 for that one. HMMMMMMMM !

There's no "adapter." You have to run a new line from the box.

Nope!

He peels off the Mitec label and puts his in place of it. I peeled mine off and looked.

ComputerJLT - do you care to pull the cover off your welder and take pictures? I did with the Smileytools unit I have and was fairly pleased. It is a petite unit, only 130A welder and you get that out of a 110 volt MIG, and don't have to have the spool/feed assembly taking up space like a MIG. But, the frame is solid pieces of machined steel held together with good quality fasteners, the circuit board is very clean, the heatsink for the SCRs + the fan to push air though it well laid out.
